Text Box: This intuitive program was designed with end users in mind. The necessity for authors to have the ability to reconcile recordings with documents is paramount in our service model.  Doc-Viewer allows authors and authorized personnel to view at a glance the demographic information related to every recording created. To ease the reconciliation process, Doc-Viewer highlights files sent in light blue, and as documents are automatically received from the transcriptionist, additional demographic data is added and the record is re-colored with a white background. Important to note is that Priority Jobs are highlighted with a red background and yellow lettering, and Zero-Length, or invalid voice files, are highlighted with a yellow background and black lettering.  

 

Text Box: A multitude of filters can be applied to search for specific jobs: Either by Author ID, Patient Name, Department, Work Type or Date Range. Results can be sorted in Descending or Ascending order in a variety of ways such as Author Time, Trans Time, Job Number, and others.  System Requirements: Most of Docs in a Row’s software suite can run on the current generation of computers available in today’s market.  As of the time that this file was composed, a basic computer configuration would be one with an Intel Celeron® processor clocked at a speed of 1.2GHz and 256mb of memory. The motherboard and operating system should have USB and or serial port capabilities so that a variety of peripherals can be used.  Microsoft Windows 2000® or Windows XP®; should be used as the Operating System because of their inherent robustness and reliability and increased capabilities in dealing with intranet and internet connectivity issues.  Although the programs themselves occupy a very small amount of hard drive space, capacity should be at least 4-8 GB for storage for database and related files.  A Sound Blaster ® compatible sound card is required, As for video, a VGA monitor and video card combination that can run at a screen resolution no less than 800 X 600 and a color quality of 16 bit or greater. We do encourage all users that intend to use our software to use a DSL connection or better, this will greatly enhance the experience.  Although the software will work with a modem connection, this would be painfully slow and users have to be aware that many ISP's have issues maintaining a prolonged connection.
